I'm going out, do you need any voles?

My cat Tile has been going out regularly at night and bringing stuff back.  We keep our bedroom door closed so we don't see what he has, but I'm pretty sure they are mice type animals.  He is very good at telling us he has something.  Lots of loud meowing.  He must think there's something wrong with as we've been at home now for over a week.

Speaking of cats, I was in the 'home office' at the end of EM work conf call today and I could clearly hear a cat meowing.  No one dared to mention it apparently.

So we know that Tiley is out every night bringing us supplies.  What does Catherine do?
This:
Of course she says she's working from home when any one asks.   (She's sleeping on EM's computer bag by the way, does that count?).

So, we have time on our hands.  Emmanuel loves watches.  He has a few and he watches videos about how to fix them.  I've even watched them, they are quite mesmorizing. Here's one for you when you are stuck inside.   Even the guy's voice is relaxing.

Any way, he has an old watch that his grandmother gave him.  Not a good one, but it's broken, so he's spent the last couple of days in his spare time trying to fix it.  Just now he started to tell me why this watch is not working.  Something about the 'roue d'echapement'  or the escape wheel.  I have no idea what that is, but I'm really not surprise he figured it out.  He was a bit disappointed that I didn't want to hear the whole explanation.   Sorry Moo.

I made sourdough bread today.  Up until now during our confinement, I've been making no knead overnight bread.  Today my bread starter was finally ready.  I put the loaves in the oven and I said to EM: Paper, Scissor, Rock or Bread?
They were both bread.  Authorization to continue.  (Good cause the starter is waiting in fridge for next week).

We're waiting to hear of our lockdown will last 6 weeks instead of just 2.  The government will announce that later this week.  They are looking at changing the labour code temporarily to allow companies to ask their employees to take their vacation or ask them to take their saved overtime.   For other companies who are busy during this time, they are looking at allowing their employees to work on Sundays and some up to 60 hours per week with authorization.  Other things like those who are currently on contracts to be paid even if they are to be isolated at home and not able to actually do the job.

This is a photo of millitary doctors working in a temporary field hospital set up in Mulhouse on the 25 march to help care for the very ill.  The local hospitals and staff are overwelmed.  (JULIEN CHATELLIER/DICOD/AP)

They are saying the the pic of infections will be mid April, but they won't know for sure until they see the numbers at the end of March.

A doctor at a hospital in Paris when asked about the young people who become gravely ill (not common) said that mostly it was because of underlying genetic issues and or taking anti-inflammatory drugs excessively which provoque a raise in infection because the symptoms are masked.

Numbers as of yesterday.
