Easter Monday

It's another beautiful day.  A bit windy and cool at times but the trees are blooming, the frogs are croaking, the birds are busy making nests.  It's hard to realise that the world is in this incredible crisis.  Last night I told EM, it felt like we were living in a movie or TV series.  I wish it would end.

Our Judas tree is blooming.  So lovely.

Today I spoke with my friend Melissa.  We worked together in Paris a few years ago.  From the get go, we got on.  We don't see each other much any more, she lives near Bordeau, but I still feel that I can catch up with her any time.  Like today.  We chatted by FB phone. She works for a chateau (very expensive exclusive wine).  Normally she does tours in the summer months and marketing in the winter.  This year is all cancelled.  Regardless, the grapes are growing so she volunteered to help in the vineyard.  Luckily for her, she's still receiving her salary.   Her husband does interieur design for shops and trade show stands.  He still has some projects he's working on.  They have a little boy who's kept them busy with his lessons at home. We both worry about what will be coming next.

Emmanuel made a great Easter lunch. Complete with bunny napkins.   I don't deserve a man this good.

Today as I was hanging out the washing.  I had a supervisor.  Cannae get away with anything around here.

Tonight we hear what the President is going to tell us to do for the next few weeks/months.
